Panini Contest Off to a Good Start

Thanks to everyone who has participated in our Panini contest! A few of our interesting (and yummy sounding) entries include: Super Fluff, Pepper Jack Ham, Memphis Pork and Greek Chicken. Originally we said we would start our "Panini of the Week" in May but I'm pushing to start right away. There are so many I want to try - my vote to start the specials with are Memphis Pork and Greek Chicken. We'll put an ad in the Shopper when we start - keep an eye out.

We, or I should say Terry, has a busy weekend ahead. Fridays are always busy with the Fish Fry; and he also has a drop off catering order Friday evening for a funeral and a large box-lunch order for a church conference on Saturday. See, there are so many events you need catering for.... I'll be posting pictures so if you're interested in meals like this for your event, check back in a couple of days.

Terry is getting the meatloaf ready for tonight's Carving Board Special. Everyone who has tried it has given it rave reviews. I have to say, it is good.... I love these specials... no more cooking for me! Living above the store has some advantages. No grocery shopping and no cooking. I like it, I like it a lot. After being married for 10 years - you would think Terry has made about everything for us to try - but no, actually before moving in here he almost never cooked for us because he was usually working during dinner. Terry's meatloaf is one of my favorites now. I wonder how it would be battered and deep-fried? (just kidding =)
